Visit the World of Giant Insects this Summer at the Arizona Science Center

Summer can be tough to get the kids off the couch, especially during the days it reaches up to 120-degrees. However, the Arizona Science Center is here to help by introducing families to, “The World of Giant Insects” exhibition. “The World of Giant Insects” exhibition is a show that comes from the Kokoro exhibits in L.A., it is known for it’s giant and realistic portrayals of huge insects and animatronic dinosaurs.

Visitors will have the opportunity to stand under a giant Desert Locust and watch giant Chinese Praying Mantis eating. All of the bugs in the exhibit are 40 to 120 times life size, giving guests the ability to see bugs up close and personal. The exhibit is running now through September 5, 2016.
