Dance Your Butt Off to Raise Money for a Cure
Everyone likes dancing. Even if you're bad at it, it's still a lot of fun to hit the dance floor and cut a rug. That's probably why zumba is so popular. It's pretty much the only exercise that's sexy and beneficial to your health. On Sunday, Sept. 28, you can zumba your butt off to raise money for a cure for many deadly diseases. The Zumbathon for a Cure
will be taking place at the Gainey Village Health Club & Spa
from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Open the public, the event will take place on the basketball court that will be turned into a dance floor. There, instructors will keep you moving. The dance party/fundraiser will support Phoenix-based TGen, an organization dedicated to research to support patients with neurological disorders, diabetes and many types of cancer. A silent auction will also be held to raise more funds. And you can't go wrong with an after party featuring free food and a cash bar. Tickets cost $35 in advance which can be purchased here
or you can get them at the door for $40.
