Local music shop, Bizarre Guitar rocks the Super Bowl

If you were out enjoying another spectacular weekend here in the Valley, you might not have realized that there was some sort of sporting contest on TV yesterday. We’re not really sure who won, but we do know that the guy from those creepy Oreo ads looked petty pissed at the end. And speaking of commercials, amidst all the old people getting tackled and the pants-less dudes, we spotted something bizarre. Bizarre Guitar, that is.
Yes, this 34-year-old music depot in central Phoenix was one of four businesses featured in Miller High Life’s “Little Guys on the Big Game” campaign. Looking resplendent in his sleeveless tank top, owner Bob Turner strums his guitar and says the immortal line, “Hello, millions of people.” However, if we’re honest, Tim the comic book guy steals the show by completing a karate kick without even removing his hands from his pockets. Read more about how Bizarre Guitar landed its moment in the spotlight here and here, or you can always catch Turner performing with his band Sluggo, appearing at a bar near you.
