Get in the game with free Arizona Rattlers tix and a VIP tour of US Airways Center

A few weeks back, we reported that the US Airways Center recently wrapped up a much-needed culinary makeover. Now, our office-mates at Desert Living Today are reporting that one famed local chef will be doing the same thing for the super-corporate eateries inside Sky Harbor Airport.
Yes, former Estate House chef, Gio Osso has been hired to upgrade Sky Harbor’s food offerings into a first-class, locally-focused operation, including bringing in more Valley-based eateries and working with local food producers to feature more AZ-grown ingredients. It’s all a part of the airport’s planned wall-to-wall renovation of Terminal 4, which should open up in phases starting in 2012. Now if they could just do something about all the half-naked passengers and crazed attack dogs, as well as hurry up and finish that $1.1 billion roller-coaster ride.
Don’t want to wait until 2012 to see what upscale concession-stand food tastes like? Why not take a behind-the-scenes VIP tour of the US Airways Center on us? Yes, we’re giving away a six-pack of lower bowl seats to the Arizona Rattlers 2011 season kickoff on March 12, 2011, as well as a guided pre-game tour of the stadium and football field. To win, simply Tweet or post the name of the AZ Rattler’s dance team to our Facebook wall, and we’ll randomly select a winner. Good luck, and enjoy the game.
