Whether or not old Franklin muttered this legendary saying, we seem to think the Thirsty Lion wants us to be happy with their 52 craft and import beers on tap, for “every palate and every plate.”

With an eclectic, scratch recipe menu and a sleek wood-clad interior design, the Thirsty Lion Pub & Grill roars into Tempe Marketplace this week. Though technically a chain with two locations in Oregon, Tempe is its first location in Arizona to serve up specialty brews, signature cocktails and its menu ranging from sushi options to burgers to pizza in the upscale, casual atmosphere. And wait, the tv’s. You won’t miss a game with a television at every nook and cranny, making it a weekend warrior must for lunch and dinner.
