Have you ever wanted to put a face to a famed food critic? Even better, have you ever wondered whether said famed food critic actually knows her way around the kitchen? Learn the answer to these questions and more at Nikki Buchanan’s new cooking series.

Hosted inside the “Conservatory,” a private dining room at the Estate House restaurant, the longtime restaurant reviewer for Phoenix Magazine won’t actually be manning the stove. That honor falls to the talented Mr. Osso, Estate House’s Italian-raised executive chef, who will be revealing family recipes such as braised short ribs, risotto with truffles and “the perfect meatball.” Buchanan, meanwhile, will be on-hand to answer questions and help keep the vino flowing. Classes start Saturday, February 27.
