Street Eats Rolls To Town

One of our favorite food trends is still trending in 2012. Now that it’s “in” to say it, we will: We love food trucks and will stand in long lines to get a bite of our favorite food truck fare. And we’re hoping the trend for 2012 morphs into our favorite food trucks making home deliveries, however right now, our Predict-a-Pen is saying, “Not for a Million $.”

Salt River Fields at Talking Stick presents its first ever Street Eats food truck festival with special guest Tyler Florence of Food Network fame. On January 14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the venue will host 25 of your favorite food truck vendors with samples and full-sized portions of their most popular menu items.

The food truck trend is sweeping the nation and who better to highlight this movement in food than the Food Network. Now in its second season, Tyler Florence’s popular show The Great Food Truck Race, spotlights eight trucks as they race across the country to compete for $100,000. The truck with the lowest sale at each locale is eliminated until the last truck is standing.
