It’s crazy how time flies when you’re having fun. Yes, we’ve come to the end of the first week of the Scoop Factory Scoopstakes. But fear not, because we’ve got a whole ‘nother week of amazing freebies coming up, including not one, but two separate Grand Prize packages. However, before we get to today’s giveaway, we’ve got some Weekend Guiding to take care of first.

Landing in the Valley this Sunday, THREAD is a temporary, or pop-up, fashion store featuring the work of more than a dozen of the Valley’s best clothing designers all under one roof. This traveling show has been popping up in markets such as LA, Seattle and Miami for years; however, this will be the first-ever THREAD event here in the Valley. Housed inside a way-cool historic warehouse in Downtown Phoenix (a former icehouse named, naturally, The Icehouse), there will also be  live DJ music, fashion shows, food trucks, free massages, hair and makeup styling, gift bags, an art show and a partridge in a pear tree. (OK, we made that last one up.)

And tonight, the iconic car auction, Barrett-Jackson is hosting a posh preview party at the W Scottsdale. Held in honor of this week-long auto extravaganza’s 40th anniversary, this poolside soiree will feature a sprinkling of super-rare automobiles, as well as a retro-tastic fashion show paying homage to the past four decades of style.

Of course, this is all prelude to the 40th Annual Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, coming this January 17-23. And we’re giving away one pair of weekly passes to one lucky Scoop Factory reader. Plus, bring a sober driver because we’re also throwing in a $100 gift certificate to the award-winning Four Peaks Brewery. Which not only has a newish location in North Scottsdale, but is actually home to some darn good food, as well as FPB’s awesome selection of craft brews.
