At Scoop Factory, we pride ourselves on being super-timely and hyper-local. So why are writing about an LA-based outdoor decor company in the middle of the wettest week in years? Because the Kindle Glow is danged cool, and we needed something to lighten up our rain-soaked morning.

Created by Kindle Living, this posh patio heater was designed to give party planners an alternative to the plain old stainless steel standby. Fueled by a propane tank hidden inside the composite shell, the heater comes in a variety of colors ranging from jet black to carnation pink. However, we’re intrigued by the translucent version (pictured), which is illuminated from within via a battery-powered lamp that works independently of the heater. So come summertime, you can still bask in the glow of your favorite conversation piece.
