Local Blog We Love

This graphics + letterpress studio does more than produce design. They look for it, too.

seesawYour regular rotation around the online ‘hood might be getting a little busy. You hit gawker.com for all your media and celeb news, uncrate.com for hot products, and huffingtonpost.com if you’re into that kind of thing. But we just found a blog by a local graphic design firm, seesaw, we think you’ll really dig.

We know what you’re going to say—who cares if a blog is written locally? We do, because we wish there were more people in Phoenix with a good eye for design like these guys. And we know what else you’re going to say—do I have to add another blah blah blog to my list? We think you do, because seesaw lets design speak for itself.

Offering sparse commentary and an abundance of links to keep you surfing a never-ending wave, seesaw’s online endeavor looks for creative photography, products (like the headband pictured here), fashion, typography, web sites, books, and more. Most of it influences seesaws own designs of greeting cards, prints, and a sweet, new wall calendar. For design clients, seesaw creates modern and minimal brand identities, collateral stuff, and invitations. Their overarching style lies somewhere between Anthropologie and Nylon Magazine with a little Mies van der Rohe thrown in for balance.
