Celebrate National Dance Day with a fab-tastic fashion tribute to Lady Gaga and an Easton Ashe concert at Scottsdale's hottest resto-bar

So in case you missed the news, Lady Gaga has descended upon the Valley. In town for this weekend’s sold-out show at the US Airways Center, we’re expecting some serious costume carnage and fashion freak-osity. However, just when we thought we were excited, we received these images from Fashion Phoenix’s Kira Brown. Named “So Happy I Could Die,” these images feature Ms Brown herself doing her best Lady G impersonation. See the full slideshow at Desert Living Today (and subscribe to her stylish newsletter here).

However, just because you didn’t score tix to see the phenomenon formerly known as Stefani Joanna Angelina Germanotta, doesn’t mean you can’t get your dance on this weekend. In fact, this Saturday is National Dance Day. Seriously. Kick-started (or should we say leg-kicked?) by So You Think You Can Dance’ judge, Nigel Lythgoe, this US Congress-approved event is all about getting out there and shaking your money maker. In other words, look for lots of cheesy news coverage of Flashmobs breaking out all over the nation. And while we didn’t find any local Flashmob events, 944’s put together a nice roundup of local booty-shakin’ shindigs.

Meanwhile, one of Scottsdale’s trendiest hotspots is getting in on the act with a live concert by local favs, Easton Ashe. Yes, Primebar inside the chic Scottsdale Quarter is promising a night filled with food, fun and flashy footwork, including featured cocktails such as the Silly Goose to get you loose, and menu favorites such as stuffed peppadews to help you keep rocking all night long. 15037 N. Scottsdale Rd., 480-822-6200
