So Bad, It’s Good
We say it’s okay to sin, but only if it gets you a free night at the MGM Grand in Vegas.
What happens in Vegas doesn’t really stay in Vegas now that our lives are an open Twitter feed. From admitting to a walk-of-shame to declaring that you actually like Vodka Red Bulls, your sins now have a place to be confessed in the hopes of redemption.
The MGM Grand in Las Vegas is anointing one sin per day as the most “unforgivable” in their new “Get Rewarded for Your Sins” campaign. Simply tweet a sin to #mgmsin (and follow @mgmgrand while you’re at it) and you could be DM’d by the luxe Vegas resort with news that you’ve won a free night at the property!
Followers vote on sins, which show up at www.mgmgrandsins.com, helping to decide which is worse—“I told a GF once that she didn’t look fat in those pants. She did.” Or “I told my boyfriend that I was going to Vegas for a wild girlfriend weekend. It was wild, but I didn’t go with my girlfriends.”
Then there’s this guy: “Publicly hating the yankees, but secretly still betting on them.” Smart move, Judas.
Receiving a free night should free up funds for other stuff at MGM, like dining at Joel Robuchon, craftsteak, or Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill; hitting clubs like Tabu and Studio 54; or seeing Crazy Horse or Cirque’s KA. The promo runs until November 26.
