The Real Frankophile
Next time you’re in Sin City, don’t miss this hilarious show. It really, um, makes an impression.
When most of us go to Vegas, we’re usually in and out in a couple days, feeling lighter in the wallet and heavier in the eyelids. When Arizona comedian Frank Caliendo goes, he signs a 10-year deal to hang out and tell jokes at the Monte Carlo.
Now the in-house funnyman for the Strip resort, Caliendo is putting smiles on all faces as he dons impressions of Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, John Madden, Clinton, Bush, and Leno. The show is way more than just stand-up—“I’ve got a live band, video segments, and guest appearances … no two shows will be exactly alike,” he told us.
Football fans know Caliendo from the pregame show, “FOX NFL Sunday” with Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long, but most of us know him as a five-year vet of “MadTV.”
While at Monte Carlo, stay in Hotel 32–the new, loft-like boutique hotel within the resort. And don’t miss a steak at The Light Group’s Brand Steakhouse or a shot of tequila at their Diablo’s Cantina.
Tickets to Caliendo start at $59. Showtimes are Fri-Sat & Mon-Tue at 9:30pm.
