Action on The Phoenix Film Festival

picture-19 Lights, camera, action on the 12th annual Phoenix Film Festival, opening Thursday, March 29. Entertaining over 22,000 last year, the yearly event is a must for film lovers. Here's the scoop for ya, the opening night event kicks off with a cocktail party from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29 in the Party Pavillion that will feature food, drinks, music, and a silent auction. Tickets for the event start at $25 and can be purchased here. Afterwards, everyone will head over to the Harkins Scottsdale 101 Cine Capri for a screening of the Opening Night Film and Sundance Film Festival hit, "Robot and Frank." The star-studded cast includes Frank Langella, Susan Sarandon, James Marsden, Peter Sarsgaard, and Liv Tyler. Films in this year's festival lineup include: "FDR: American Badass," "The Woman in the Fifth" starring Ethan Hawke, and "Queens of Country."
