Fashion Group International jet-sets into the Valley with a can't-miss style and beauty symposium
Everybody loves a makeover. That said, not everybody is lucky enough to have a rolodex full of style and beauty gurus at their beck and call. (Or win tickets to a taping of “Oprah.”) If only there was an event that lets you interact with local and national style gurus, as well as hear a panel discussion dishing on ”must-know” products, treatments and looks. Oh wait, that’s exactly what’s going on Thursday night at the W Scottsdale.
Named “Inside the Beauty Biz” this très-chic soirée is sponsored by the Arizona outpost of the famed Fashion Group International. Meanwhile, the event itself will feature a who’s who of fashion and makeup gurus, including Elizabeth Rossi of Barneys New York, Stephanie Peterson of bliss Scottsdale, Sabrina Posillico of Healing Anthropology and Kathy Krakora of Scosh Makeup and Skincare Studio. Hosted from 6 - 8 pm, the event kicks off with an hour-long networking social, followed by a panel discussion breaking down what’s hot now, as well as future trends. Even better, every guest will leave clutching a special beauty gift bag from Barneys!
